Paramount Network has premiered the first trailer for the upcoming third season of its Kevin Costner-led neo-western drama series “Yellowstone” as new faces and new threats emerge for the Dutton family.
“Lost” alum Josh Holloway joins the series this season as Roarke Morris, a hedge fund manager with ambitious plans in Montana concerning the Duttons. Oscar-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan and John Linson co-created the show which also stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser and Gil Birmingham.
The first season averaged 5.1 million total viewers per episode, making it 2018’s most-watched new cable series and ranking second across all cable TV series for the year. The second season was the most-watched 2019 summer series on cable TV and received stronger reviews along with more consistent numbers.
The third season premieres on June 21st.
