Producer Jon Landau has posted a photo from the set of the “Avatar” sequels of himself alongside Sigourney Weaver and Joel David Moore who have already shot scenes for the new films.
Moore is reprising his role as Dr. Norm Spellman, but Weaver’s role has yet to officially be confirmed as her character Dr. Grace Augustine died and became one with the planet in the first film. The photo though suggests a possible flashback.
Weaver previously revealed that she’s going to be playing a new character in the films. The next two films in the series have been in development for a long time and have already completed much of their live-action filming.
