Netflix has released the first trailer for “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs The Reverend,” the upcoming interactive special which continues the acclaimed Ellie Kemper-led comedy and arrives May 12th.
Created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, the series follows Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) as she continues to adjust to the 21st century and learn more about who she really is.
Joining Kimmy on her journey are her best friend and roommate, Titus Andromedon (Tituss Burgess), her former-employer-turned-friend Jacqueline White (Jane Krakowski), and landlord Lillian Kaushtupper (Carol Kane). The special includes the likes of Jon Hamm, Daniel Radcliffe and Johnny Knoxville as guest stars.
Fey said in a statement: “Fans will be able to make choices on behalf of our characters, taking different story paths with, of course, different jokes. I think it’s a great fit for our show and will be a great way to officially complete the series.”
