The Winter Soldier himself, actor Sebastian Stan, will be on screens for some time to come with not only a Disney+ TV series on the way but also the upcoming Drake Doremus drama “Endings, Beginnings” which will shortly launch on VOD.
Out doing promotion for that film, which also stars Shailene Woodley and Jamie Dornan, the topic briefly turned towards his work on Karyn Kusama’s “Destroyer” with Nicole Kidman back in 2018. Stan has nothing but love for that experience and “would love to keep finding projects with her”.
The inevitable question was asked – as Kusama has just landed the new take on Dracula for Universal Pictures, would he be interested? He says:
“I already emailed her about that. I said, ‘You know I’m from Romania, right?’ and she goes, “Yes, yes, it’s very early — and there’s a pandemic. Hopefully, we’ll see you in four years.'”
Stan was just a few weeks away from wrapping production on Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” series which he says tonally is “very much in the same world that Captain America: The Winter Soldier was”.
