Some newbehind-the-scenes photos from the set of the Nicolas Cage-led horror thriller “Wally’s Wonderland” have gone online, showcasing a first look at the evil animatronic puppets of the movie.
Cage will play a quiet drifter tricked into a janitorial job at a condemned amusement park. He’s soon forced to spend the night there and is pulled into a living nightmare as the threatening animatronic characters come to life. He must fight his way from one monster to another to survive until morning and get out of the park.
A similar premise has been the basis of the successful “Five Nights at Freddy’s” video game series. G.O. Parsons penned the script while Cage, Grant Cramer, Jeremy Davis and Danny Roth and Mike Nilon will produce.
Emily Tosta, Beth Grant, Ric Reitz and Chris Warner co-star in the film which Kevin Lewis (“The Drop”) directs.
