“Nip/Tuck” star Dylan Walsh is set to play General Samuel Lane, father of Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane and her sister Lucy, in The CW’s straight-to-series drama “Superman & Lois”.
Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will reprise their roles as the DC couple in the series which hails from “The Flash” executive producer Todd Helbing.
Walsh’s role is reportedly a series regular in the series, a workaholic no-nonsense Army general determined to keep the world safe from all threats – from this world or beyond.
The show will go straight into series production once the COVID-19 pandemic settles down. The role has previously been played by Glenn Morshower on “Supergirl,” Michael Ironside on “Smallville” and Harve Presnell on “Lois & Clark”.
