Joby Harold Is New “Obi-Wan” Series Writer

Joby Harold has been set as writer for the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series at the Disney+ streaming service. Harold takes over from Hossein Amini who left the project back in January.

This marks Harold’s first time writing for a television series, though he has executive produced both WGN America’s “Underground” and Netflix’s “Spinning Out”. Harold most recently penned Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead” and executive produced “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum”.

Ewan McGregor confirmed last August that he would be reprising the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the series while Deborah Chow is slated to direct.
