“Angry Birds” Netflix Series In Development

Rovio Entertainment’s has announced that following the success of the film adaptations of their hit video game franchise “Angry Birds,” a new TV series adaptation is on the way for a 2021 launch on Netflix.

“Angry Birds: Summer Madness” will reportedly keep the same style of humor and tone of the big screen films whilst offering a fresh look at the much-loved Red, Bomb and Chuck.

The series order will consist of forty episodes clocking in at 11 minutes each and will see the trio alongside a cast of new feathered friends as tween birds at summer camp under the questionable guidance of their counsellor Mighty Eagle.

This leads to explosive antics, improbable pranks and crazy summertime adventures. While the first film in the series wasn’t well regarded, the second installment remains the best-reviewed video game adaptation of all time.
