Turns out it isn’t just “Birds of Prey” that Warner Bros. Pictures is moving up the VOD food chain. The studio has announced that Destin Daniel Cretton’s legal drama “Just Mercy,” starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx, has also been brought forward.
‘Mercy’ was made available from digital retailers yesterday and will be available on Video on Demand beginning March 24th. The news comes as the film’s director Cretton, who is helming Marvel’s “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” has officially tested negative for coronavirus after self-isolating last week.
Warners has also released a new trailer for the early digital release of the retitled “Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey” which is set to arrive on Digital and on VOD on March 24th. The film’s extras include “Birds Eye View Mode,” a gag reel and several featurettes.
