Chris Evans, Scott Derrickson Hit “Bermuda”

“Doctor Strange” and “Sinister director Scott Derrickson and his writing partner C. Robert Cargill are set to so the Bermuda Triangle-themed thriller “Bermuda” at Skydance.

In addition, Captain America star himself Chris Evans is being eyed to star. The announcement comes in the wake of Derrickson exiting the upcoming sequel “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” having since been replaced by Sam Raimi.

Ironically, Raimi was at one time attached to direct “Bermuda”. Derrickson and Cargill will completely overhaul the previous script by Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard.

Plot specifics, beyond it being set in that Caribbean region where planes and ships have gone missing over the years, are under wraps.
