Zach Baylin has been hired to pen the third installment in the “Rocky” spin-off franchise “Creed” for MGM.
The new film will continue the story of Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) but story details are unknown and a director has yet to be confirmed. Ryan Coogler directed and wrote the first, while Steven Caple Jr. directed the second which was co-written by Juel Taylor and Sylvester Stallone.
The previous two films earned $173 million and $214 million worldwide respectively while critical reviews were excellent and very good. Baylin penned the Black List script for the upcoming Will Smith-led biopic “King Richard” about Venus and Serena Williams’ father.
