Delroy Lindo will depart CBS All Access’ “The Good Fight” as a series regular following the upcoming fourth season which hits April 9th. The actor is already in talks to headline ABC’s family restaurant drama pilot “Harlem’s Kitchen”.
Lindo, whose contract was up, was offered a new deal to stay on for a fifth season but chose ‘Harlem’ as it is a passion project he’s longed to do. The possibility of doing both series was explored but production overlap was too great.
However producers are leaving the door open so Lindo could return to his Adrian Boseman role if ‘Harlem’ doesn’t go to series and “The Good Fight” fifth season renewal happens. Lindo is reportedly very happy working on “Good Fight” and will almost certainly appear again in some form.
