Nickelodeon has reunited the voice cast of its “SpongeBob SquarePants” animated series for “Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years,” a CG animated prequel series following a 10-year-old SpongeBob at summer camp.
The new show is one of several announced by the kid-focused cable network today. The full core voice cast of SpongeBob are all due back, while Carlos Alazraqui and Kate Higgins will voice new characters. That show will premiere in July.
Also on the way is the ten-episode series “The Astronauts” about a group of kids mistakenly launched into space, a live-action holiday movie based on the long-running animated series “The Loud House,” an animated series based on Lincoln Peirce’s best-selling “Big Nate” books, and “Danger Force” which is a spin-off of “Henry Danger”.
Renewals have also been given to “Are You Afraid of the Dark?,” “Paw Patrol,” “Bubble Guppies,” “Blaze and the Monster Machines,” “Top Elf,” “The Casagrandes” and “Blues Clues and You”.
