Paramount Pictures has set a March 5th 2021 release date for a fourth entry in the “Jackass” franchise.
Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine created the MTV reality stunt-prank series which launched in 2000 and delivered three films in all in 2002, 2006 and 2010. The three films have racked up $335 million worldwide from a combined budget of around $36 million.
Tremaine directed the last three movies in addition to the Knoxville-led comedy “Bad Grandpa”. In its slot, the project will go up against Sony’s proposed “Masters of the Universe” reboot and two other untitled studio features.
