NBC has released the first teaser for “Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector,” the TV series adaptation of Jeffrey Deaver’s novel “The Bone Collector” which was previously brought to the screen as the Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie-led series.
The new take follows a legendary forensic criminologist named Lincoln Rhyme (Russell Hornsby), who was seriously injured during his hunt for the diabolic serial killer.
Called back into action when the killer re-emerges, Lincoln forms a unique partnership with Amelia Sachs (Arielle Kebbel), a young beat cop who helps him hunt the deadly mastermind while also taking on the most high-profile cases in the NYPD.
Michael Imperioli, Courtney Grosbeck, Ramses Jimenez, Brooke Lyons, Tate Ellington, Jaidon Walls and Claire Coffee co-star. VJ Boyd and Mark Bianculli co-write the series and serve at its executive producers. The show premieres January 10th.
