Ellen DeGeneres will spearhead four new original series coming to the streaming service HBO Max, three of which have been given straight-to-series orders with the other in development.
DeGeneres announced the pickups on her talk show and surprised her audience with a two-year HBO Max subscription each in celebration of the news. All four series come via DeGeneres’ overall deal with Warner Bros. Pictures and join her multiple other unscripted projects which are mostly on NBC.
The three series orders are for design competition show “Ellen’s Home Design Challenge,” dating show “First Dates Hotel,” and 2D animated children’s series “Little Ellen”. The other show in development is a documentary series titled “Finding Einstein.”
