Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has a new nine-track solo studio album titled “Anima” dropping digitally on June 27th, and now Netflix has released a trailer for the album’s tie-in short film of the same name – a short which hails from celebrated film director Paul Thomas Anderson.
The announcement includes the following definition of the title: “Definition of anima: an individual’s true inner self that in the analytic psychology of C. G. Jung reflects archetypal ideals of conduct. also: an inner feminine part of the male personality.”

Anderson’s ‘one-reeler’ is set to three tracks from the album and will be available to watch exclusively via Netflix on the same day as the digital drop on June 27th.
A physical CD, black double vinyl, limited edition orange double vinyl, and a deluxe 180g heavyweight orange double vinyl version will also be released on July 19th – the vinyl’s including a bonus track.
