The Jon Watts-directed “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” the sequel to 2017’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and the first post-Endgame film in the MCU, is headed for a big opening.
‘Far From Home’ is reportedly tracking for a $150-160 million haul at the North American box office over its six-day run from Tuesday July 2nd through to the Sunday.
Some industry experts reportedly already have the superhero movie going as high as $180 million. ‘Homecoming’ bowed to $117 million over its three-day opening and went on to earn $880 million globally.
The film is seen as the next big hope after what has been a relatively disappointing Summer so far at the box-office outside of Disney’s tentpoles.
