Sometimes people try and sometimes they don’t, that dichotomy can be seen in the two big film poster releases this morning.
Sony Pictures has debuted an impressive retro poster for Quentin Tarantino’s new film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” which boasts an almost Drew Struzan-crafted style to the print.
Opening July 26th, the film is set in Los Angeles in the summer of 1969 and focuses on a male TV actor named Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) who has had one hit western series and is looking for a way to get into the film business. His sidekick and stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) is looking for the same thing.

Less impressive? Marvel and Disney have unveiled the new IMAX poster for Jon Watts’ “Spider-Man: Far From Home”. Watts recently fully completed the film, but the poster art as seen below has already drawn a number of less than exemplary reviews. The film itself is expected to be more impressive and opens July 2nd.
