Warner Bros. Pictures has set a July 16th 2021 release date for “Space Jam 2,” the upcoming LeBron James-led sequel to the 1996 basketball-meets-Looney Tunes feature.
The film takes a slot previously marked out for an ‘untitled WB event film’ and has it to itself, but is sandwiched between two high profile sequels – “Indiana Jones 5” and “Mission: Impossible 7”.
That’s not all today though as Warners has also bumped up the untitled “Annabelle” sequel by a week to June 28th this year, while “Godzilla vs. Kong” moves up by two months to March 13th 2020.
