“The Hangover” comedian Zach Galifianakis is turning his sporadic online talk show “Between Two Ferns” into a feature film for Netflix.
Production is already secretly underway on the Funny or Die-produced film which stars Galifianakis as the inappropriate and often barb-fuelled host of a low-budget talk show who conducts awkward and uncomfortable interviews on a barebones stage with chairs and potted plants.
Scott Aukerman, who directed many of the segments and co-created the show, is helming. Peter Dinklage, David Letterman, Keanu Reeves, Ed Helms and Bradley Cooper are slated to be involved.
