Will Ferrell is reportedly reviving his legendary “Anchorman” character Ron Burgundy for a new podcast imaginatively titled “The Ron Burgundy Podcast” for the iHeartRadio Podcast Network.
Set to launch in early 2019 and co-produced by Funny or Die, the show has been given a two-season twelve-episode order with the announcement made by Burgundy himself on the new @BurgundyPodcast Twitter handle.
Said Twitter account saw Burgundy get into an argument with CNN’s Don Lemon about a hot dog eating contest. The two “Anchorman” films combined have grossed $263 million worldwide to date.
