The CW’s Arrowverse crossover this year has taken another unexpected turn.
We know the three episode ‘Elseworlds’ crossover will include the introduction of Batwoman (Ruby Rose), that Grant Gustin’s The Flash and Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow will swap costumes, and that Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman will be returning for the episodes.
Now a new photo from the set confirms that not only will recurring guest star John Wesley Shipp return, but he’s also bringing back a familiar outfit – the same one he wore as Barry Allen in the 1990 CBS series adaptation of “The Flash”.
The ‘Elseworlds’ crossover takes place over three nights from December 9th-11th.
No big deal. Just working with @JohnWesleyShipp for the first time. Nice of him to dress up for the occasion. pic.twitter.com/twRkwIhilv
