Dwayne Johnson is set to re-team with his “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” director Jake Kasdan on the original feature “John Henry and The Statesmen” which Netflix has secured the rights to.
Tom Wheeler (“The Lego Ninjago Movie”) created the pitch starring Johnson as the titular John Henry who leads an ensemble cast of the most popular figures from folklore and legend from all around the world.
Johnson, Kasdan, Beau Flynn and Hiram Garcia will produce via Seven Bucks Productions.
