In the wake of “Hotel Transylvania 3” passing the $100 million mark at the U.S. box office on Tuesday, the film’s director Genndy Tartakovsy and its studio Sony Pictures Animation have come to a new deal to for Tartakovsky to direct two more animated feature films.
It has been revealed that one of the films is an R-rated comedy called “Fixed” while the other is an action-adventure film dubbed “Black Knight”. Tartakovsky is the creator of “Samurai Jack,” “Dexter’s Laboratory” and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”.
Tartakovsky himself has previously developed two projects at Sony – the original film “Can You Imagine” and a “Popeye” reboot – with neither making it into full production.
