First Photo: Natalie Portman In “Pale Blue Dot”

Fox Searchlight has released the first photo from “Fargo” and “Legion” showrunner Noah Hawley’s new directorial effort “Pale Blue Dot”.

The shot shows Natalie Portman in character as Lucy Cola, a married astronaut who returns to Earth after a mission and begins an affair with a fellow astronaut (Jon Hamm).

She heads into a downward spiral as she loses her connection to her family and when her lover beings another affair with an astronaut trainee (Zazie Beetz), the bottom drops out. Dan Stevens will play Portman’s husband.

Hawley helms from a script written by Brian C. Brown and Elliot DiGuiseppi.
