Sony Pictures has pulled its “Spider-Man” spin-off “Silver & Black” from their release schedule and has not set a new date.
The film was originally slated to open February 8th 2019, but with the movie’s director Gina Prince-Bythewood confirming the other week the movie is still very much in the middle of the scripting phase – there’s was no way it was going to make that date.
Prince-Bythewood, Chris Yost and Lisa Joy-Nolan have all worked on the script for the film which sees the characters of expertly-trained mercenary Silver Sable and master thief Black Cat teaming up.
Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal are slated to produce.
