Paul Rudd is reportedly being eyed for the lead human role in the upcoming “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie at Paramount Pictures reports That Hashtag Show.
Rudd would play Tom, a cop who ends up befriending Sonic before the duo team-up to take down the evil Robotnik. Further plot details are under wraps.
The project is a $90 million live-action/CGI hybrid which starts shooting in Vancouver this summer. Jeff Fowler makes his directorial debut from a screenplay by Patrick Casey and Josh Miller.
At last report the film is targeting a November 15th 2019 release.
