Zac Efron has joined the cast of Harmony Korine’s stoner comedy “The Beach Bum” which is currently filming in Miami.
Matthew McConaughey plays the titular bum, a rebellious stoner named Moondog who lives life by his own rules. Efron is set to play a character named Flicker, one of the characters Moondog meets on his journey.
Isla Fisher, Jimmy Buffet, and Snoop Dogg co-star while John Lesher and Charles-Marie Anthonioz are producing and NEON will distribute the film.
