Kathryn Newton (“Pokemon Detective Pikachu,” “Big Little Lies”) and increasingly dramatic actor Vince Vaughn are in talks to star in an untitled body-swapping thriller for Blumhouse Productions.
The project is “Happy Death Day” director Christopher Landon’s new film which follows a teenager (Newton) who, after swapping bodies with a deranged serial killer (Vaughn), discovers she has less than 24 hours before the change becomes permanent.
Landon co-wrote the script with Michael Kennedy and Jason Blum will produce.
