Six weeks out from release, filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo have officially locked the final edit of “Avengers: Endgame” and hit a sundae bar to celebrate.
This means they and the film’s editors have finished the movie bar some final polishes to FX shots and audio/visual elements – no more scenes can be added or removed.
The film’s runtime hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, hints a few months ago suggested it will likely clock in at three hours.
The news comes as media ticketing platform Atom Tickets has reportedly released the results of a survey that indicates the film women are most excited to see this year is “Avengers: Endgame”. The survey included nearly 1,000 women and revealed that came top with 60% wanting to see it in cinemas. Runners up were “The Lion King” (47%), “Captain Marvel” and “Toy Story 4” (42%),
“Avengers: Endgame” opens in cinemas on April 26th.
