A new Japanese trailer and poster for Rian Johnson’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” has arrived with a few seconds of new footage included. Said new scene seem to clear up one lingering question from the main global trailer the other week.
Not ony do we glimpse C-3PO with two golden arms in the clip, we hear an additional line of dialogue from Daisy Ridley’s Rey who says: “Something inside me has always been there….and now it’s awake. I need help”. The lines were split up in the previous trailers, brought together he though it sounds like Rey will be saying this to Luke after she meets him on the island, an appeal to get him to train her.
The new trailer also makes clearer Luke’s statement about being ‘scared before’ about witnessing someone with such power – shots seemingly cut in a more logical way to confirm the suggestion that years ago Kylo Ren destroyed Luke’s Jedi Academy and tried to kill Luke in the process.
“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” opens in U.S. cinemas on December 15th.
