The British Board of Film Classification has confirmed that a new “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” trailer is not only on the way but will drop very soon.
Dubbed ‘Trailer C’, it has been rated 12A and runs approximately 2 minutes and 16 seconds. To date, Disney has only released a teaser trailer earlier this year followed by a short D23 ‘reel’ last month.
This is the real ‘full trailer’ which generally appears early October as it did with ‘The Last Jedi’. However such a classification suggests it’ll be earlier than that.
The rating comes as the film’s director J.J. Abrams says the movie has been easily the hardest thing he’s ever done, in part due to the weight of expectation. He tells The SW Show: “This ending, which is such an important thing for all of us, by far, has been the most challenging thing I’ve ever worked on.”
“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” opens December 20th.
