Star Trek Picard Gets Title First Set Photo

It’s official, “Star Trek: Picard” will be the title of the CBS All Access series set to launch late this year and a first look photo of Stewart filming the show along with its official title treatment has gone online below.

Patrick Stewart surprised in August last year in Las Vegas when he revealed he would be reprising his iconic character of Captain Jean-Luc Picard for an upcoming TV series set two decades after the events of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and its films. The destruction of Romulus plays a key role in the new series.

The reveal happened as part of CBS’ network upfronts presentation today and comes just days after it was announced that Amazon Prime Video have picked up the series internationally with new episodes to debut in more than 200 countries within 24 hours of each episode’s U.S. premiere.

Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Evan Evagora and Michelle Hurd co-star in the series which will premiere this Fall.
