Sony Pictures has revealed a new poster for the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” with Tom Holland’s webslinger crouching in front of a mural for his former father figure and mentor Iron Man.
In the new film, Peter Parker is in desperate need of a vacation and decides to head on a school trip to Europe with his classmates and friends. While travelling abroad, he is enlisted by Nick Fury for a mission to fight against the Elementals and is paired with the extradimensional superhuman Quentin Beck aka Mysterio.
The poster arrives as Inverse reports the film will get two stinger credits scenes and one of which – the mid-credits scene – is rumored to tease not Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 films but rather the future for Spidey by suggesting the Sinister Six comes together. The report has not been confirmed as yet.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home” opens July 2nd.
