Cartoon Network has announced a March 11th premiere date for the all-new fifth season of Genndy Tartakovsky’s cult-fave animated series “Samurai Jack”.
The original “Samurai Jack” series ran from 2001 to 2004 with a total of 52 episodes. The story followed a samurai warrior flung into the distant future and is on a singular quest to return to his own time and defeat the tyrannical demon Aku.
Tartakovsky will be returning for the new episodes which will wrap-up Jack’s story and take on the form of one episodic story set years after the fourth season finale.
