Samuel L. Jackson is in final negotiations to star in Peter Segal’s $130 million sci-fi film “Inversion” which begins production February 27th at Babelsberg Studios in Berlin ahead of filming in Shanghai and Chicago.
“Vikings” star Travis Fimmel will portray a street-wise American con man who teams with a young Chinese physicist (Liu Yifei) as they race against the clock to save the earth from a terrifying loss of gravity.
Jackson will portray a senior Homeland Security investigator who believes the two are the cause of the inversions of gravity and chases them across two continents trying to stop further destruction.
Segal will direct from a screenplay written by Paul Haggis, David Arata, and Bragi Schut. Philip Lee, Michael Nozik and Markus Barmettler will produce.
