Netflix has announced that Bong Joon Ho’s “Okja” will be re-released in thirty-six theatres across America on November 3rd. The film had its debut on the streaming platform in 190 countries in June and a simultaneous limited theatrical release in the US, Canada, South Korea, and the UK.
The re-release will screen at all iPic theatres and an additional twenty locations in cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Cleveland, Seattle, and Denver.
Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, Giancarlo Esposito, Steven Yeun, and Lily Collins starred in the film about a young girl who risks everything to prevent a powerful company from kidnapping and exploiting her best friend, a massive animal named Okja.
