Bowing to both fan pressure and the obvious sense of having an original series with a proper ending, Netflix will be moving forward with a one-off, two-hour finale episode of the recently cancelled “Sense8”.
The sci-fi series, from the Wachowskis and J. Michael Straczynski, was abruptly axed after two seasons – despite ending on a cliffhanger.
Now, in the form of a letter from co-creator Lana Wachowski posted on Netflix’s official social media channels, it has been revealed that the show will be back for a double episode that will wrap up the show’s narrative.
The “Sense8” finale is expected to air sometime next year.
