“John Wick Chapter 3” Begins Pre-Production

Pre-production has reportedly begun on “John Wick Chapter 3” with casting to take place right after the holidays reports Omega Underground.

In the wake of “John Wick: Chapter Two” opening earlier this year and earning nearly $170 million on just a $40 million budget, Lionsgate set a May 17th 2019 release date for a third film in the series with production now aiming for a Spring start.

Derak Kolstad’s script is reportedly complete, though whether sequences take place in Jerusalem and Tokyo as star Keanu Reeves has previously hinted at is not clear. Neither is who will officially direct with the first film’s co-director and second film’s solo director Chad Stahelski currently serving as ‘prep director’ on this entry.
