People who have seen Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” this week were greeted by the surprise inclusion of a character in one key sequence.
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD FOR “AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR”
Though only on screen for a few minutes, the character of Red Skull from “Captain America: The First Avenger” returns and has several lines. Of course the original actor in the role, Hugo Weaving, has famously said in the past it is “not something I would want to do again”.
It’s also obvious he didn’t, with another actor taking on the role and trying to do a Weaving impersonation. IGN UK has now revealed who that is and learned it’s none other than “The Walking Dead” regular Ross Marquand who plays Aaron on that series.
Marquand, famed for his numerous celebrity impressions, slipped into Weaving’s old make-up look for the scene which closes off a lingering question many have had since the first “Captain America” film.
“Avengers: Infinity War” is now open everywhere.
