Unsurprisingly, HBO has announced they’ve renewed “Westworld” for a third season, less than two weeks after the second season premiered on the cabler.
Two episodes into its ten-episode second season run, showrunners Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy have said their dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness has a 5-6 season plan in place and with both ratings and reviews on their side – they’ll likely be able to tell all of it.
The show’s second season has explored the ramifications of the robot rebellion while the Shogun World park expected to play a major role later this season. The non-linear storytelling of the first season is back but seemingly more straightforward… so far.
