“Godzilla vs. Kong” Delayed Eight Months

Godzilla Vs Kong Delayed Eight Months

Unsurprisingly, Warner Bros. and Legendary have delayed the monster mashup “Godzilla vs. Kong” by eight months from March 13th 2020 to November 20th 2020.

The crossover feature follows on from 2014’s decently reviewed and solid “Godzilla,” 2017’s very well regarded hit “Kong: Skull Island,” and this year’s mixed reviewed “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” which disappointed despite earning $385.9 million globally.

Adam Wingard (“You’re Next,” “The Guest”) helms the film from a script by Terry Rossio. It stars Julian Dennison, Rebecca Hall, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Brian Tyree Henry, Alexander Skarsgard, Zhang Ziyi, Lance Reddick, Eiza Gonzalez and Demian Bichir.

Production has wrapped, but the new release date gives time for reshoots should they need it.
