Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have announced that Harrison Ford along with comedians Patton Oswalt, Tiffany Hadish, Nick Kroll and Pete Holmes are all joining the voice cast of “The Secret Life of Pets 2” which opens next June.
Marking Ford’s first animated feature film work ever, the group join the likes of Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, and Dana Carvey.
The follow-up to the 2016 blockbuster follows the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy will produce the sequel with Brian Lynch writing and Chris Renaud directing.
The first film grossed over $875 million at the worldwide box office, the highest-grossing Illumination Entertainment title and second-highest Universal Pictures release at the domestic box office.
