The first trailer is out for the darkly comic thriller “Promising Young Woman” starring Carey Mulligan who finally gets to be unleashed.
Mulligan plays Cassie, a traumatized woman who uses her cunning and smarts to lead a double life taking revenge on so-called ‘nice guys’ who are actually would-be rapists.
“Killing Eve” second season showrunner Emerald Fennell makes her feature directorial debut on the film which also stars Bo Burnham, Alison Brie, Connie Britton, Adam Brody, Max Greenfield, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Molly Shannon, Laverne Cox and Jennifer Coolidge.
“Promising Young Woman” opens in cinemas on April 17th.
