Warner Bros. Pictures has premiered the teaser trailer for civil rights drama “Just Mercy” starring Michael B. Jordan. The film opens January 10th.
Based on Bryan Stevenson’s best-selling memoir of the same name, the true story tale follows world-renowned civil rights defense attorney Stevenson (Jordan) as he recounts his experiences and details the case of a condemned death row prisoner whom he fought to free.
The stoy is set against a backdrop of a corrupt judicial system which favors the death penalty and targets the poor. Destin Daniel Cretton helms the film which he co-wrote with Andrew Lanham.
