Final Trailer: “It Comes at Night”

Following early screenings which have labelled it moody and disturbing, the final trailer has arrived for Trey Edward Shults’ “It Comes At Night”.

Set in a post-apocalyptic wilderness, the story follows a group of survivors (Joel Edgerton, Carmen Ejogo and son Kelvin Harrison Jr) who welcome in a newcomer couple (Christopher Abbott and Riley Keough), only to find their survival at stake.

Despite the horror film marketing angle, reviews indicate this is more like Shults’ “Krisha” or last year’s “The Witch” with the emphasis on atmospheric dread as opposed to pure horror.

A24 will release the film in cinemas on June 9th.
