Those involved in the “Fast and Furious” franchise have made their intentions clear – they adore Keanu Reeves and they want to play with him. Don’t we all?
The breathtaking “John Wick” star was rumored for a role in the “Fast and Furious” spin-off feature “Hobbs and Shaw,” but it never came to pass. Now, franchise writer Chris Morgan has told Screen Rant that he’s already met with Reeves to discuss a possible role in the films.
Morgan has served as writer of six of the “Fast and Furious” movies as well as “Hobbs and Shaw” and explained what’s happening:
“I sat down with him and we’re talking about. I wanted him to be in the Fast universe for a very long time. We’re just trying to find… the hardest thing is always time and competing schedules and then designing the right thing together. My fervent desire is to bring him into this franchise for sure.”
Reeves remains in high demand these days and has fourth films in the “John Wick” and “The Matrix” franchises in the works so his schedule to fit in a ‘Fast’ film of some sort seems tricky.
