Speaking with the Associated Press this week, actor Daniel Craig has confirmed that his next film will indeed be the next James Bond movie as previously rumored.
At last report, Danny Boyle is slated to direct, pending script approval, and is targeting a late 2018 start to begin production. Craig confirmed his return with a “yeah” but when asked to confirm Boyle’s involvement he responded: “We’ll see, we’ll see.”
Meanwhile Naomie Harris, who played Miss Moneypenny in both “Skyfall” and “Spectre,” revealed on “The Graham Norton Show” this week that she still hasn’t been told if her character will return for the upcoming film:
“I know nothing. I don’t know if I am in it, but I do know they start shooting at the end of the year. I have cleared my diary in anticipation but I don’t know.”
The next Bond film is currently targeting a November 2019 release.
