Bautista, King Join The “Escape Plan” Sequel

Dave Bautista (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) and Jamie King (“Sin City”) have joined the cast of the sequel to the 2013 Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger prison break thriller “Escape Plan”.

The first film had Stallone as Ray Breslin, one of the world’s foremost authorities on structural security, who agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called ‘The Tomb’.

Deceived and wrongly imprisoned, Ray must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built.

The sequel will be a Chinese co-production. King will play the female lead, Bautista’s role is under wraps.

Miles Chapman will return to pen the sequel which is looking to soon begin production in Atlanta. Steven C. Miller (“Marauders”) will helm.
